About Us

Established in 2002, the Caleidoscope of Culture Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, was formed with the mission of providing the southeastern Michigan business community with the resources and education to execute effective diversity programs. In recent years, the Caleidoscope of Culture Foundation has refocused their mission to instead provide minority students with resources and tools to help them succeed in the marketing communications, public relations, journalism, and hospitality/event services fields. The foundation provides scholarships, career development workshops, professional development, mentors and internship opportunities to ethnic minorities.

Since its inception, the foundation has provided diversity educational training, mini grants, community program initiatives, and multicultural scholarship awards for youth oriented programs that support music, art and theatre through our ‘Hidden Jewels’ program. The Foundation promotes cultural diversity, tolerance and the fair and equitable treatment of all people regardless of race, gender, religious or sexual orientation and targets the African American, Hispanic, Asian, Arab, and Native American communities.
